U.S. Pharmacopeia Seminar in Jakarta 6 March 2014

On Thursday 6 March 2014, PT. Pharma Test Indonesia has successfully organized a Seminar from U.S. Pharmacopeia with the topic "Dissolution: USP PVT Dissolution Instrument Qualification". The Seminar was held in Novotel Mangga Dua Square and attended by 110 participants from 59 Pharmaceutical Companies in Indonesia. The main issue of this seminar is to discuss Dissolution Best Practice and how to perform a PVT (Performance Verification Test) from the USP point of view.

The Seminar was opened by Mrs. Augustine as Director of Standardization from Badan POM Indonesia (The FDA of Indonesia) and then continued by the presentation from the speakers of USP. The profiles of the 2 speakers from USP are:

Paul J. Cowan as Director of Sales Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He has been USP employee since 2002. Education: B.S., Industrial Administration and Marketing, Iowa State University

Alex Fiechter as Senior International Account Manager. He has been USP employee since 2005. Courses: Dissolution Basics; Dissolution: Theory and Best Practices; Effectively Using USP NF.
